My love for quality hospitality was met with open arms during our recent visit to @theadolphushotel in Dallas, TX for our annual holiday trip. This historic hotel built in 1912 and has the most opulent and stylistic downtown vibe with friendly staff and sexy patrons.

Teaching at the Design Institute of San Diego has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. I recently took up a new Studio course that has challenged me to raise the bar not only for myself, but for the students who I serve. Fall semester brought a group of diverse, strong willed and strong minded people who inspired me to raise the bar and in turn, work tirelessly to challenge their creativity & professionalism. Incredibly proud of this groups dedication to their craft and shouting out how excited I am to watch these six to achieve greatness!

Today is the official start of my Past-President position with ASID San Diego. We celebrated this week at a lovely sit down dinner where we got to truly visit and enjoy the company of old & new friends. I genuinely adore this community of likeminded professionals and can’t express enough my gratitude for all the kind words and thoughtfulness in celebrating my term. Today marks the 1st day of a new beginning and I sincerely wish the new President @lilyrobinsonarchitect a most successful year. Looking forward to a fabulous year ahead. 🥂

It was a great honor to serve as President of ASID

It was a great honor to serve as President of ASID San Diego for this last year. Not only did I foster new relationships but I strengthened existing ones that undoubtedly will last a lifetime. The outgoing and incoming boards met in-person two weeks ago for my last monthly board meeting as President. It was a wonderful hour and a half absorbing the energy and excitement that’s upon us. Tonight, we celebrate all our achievements and support the next Board as they embark on experiences that will undoubtedly continue the energy and love we all have for ASID and all it does for our industry.

Thank you ASID San Diego for this gift to serve. I look forward to 2023 and beyond.

Our recently completed Courtyard San Diego Miramar hotel project did just that. New finishes bringing brightness, creative contrast and a new furniture layout providing a useable lobby space for guests.
