Truax East

A new build in Old Town Temecula of a 155 room boutique hotel warranted a deep dive into the history of migration to California and the settlement of the Spanish within the Southern region.  As Old Town became a hub for transit from the East, a convergence of Spanish and European cultures, this quaint town, much like many across California, flourished.  Truax East is a nod to distinctive California Spanish styles from dark wood beams, grill iron work, terracotta glazed tile, arches, candelabra iron lighting and rich textiles.
